Charity events are one of my favourite types of photo shoot as apart from the fact that everyone is dressed up to the nines (always makes for good photos) and very buoyant, there’s the little voice in my head constantly reminding me that these photos will be promoting a really great cause, and that gives me a little buzz.
This particular ball was the charity ball hosted by Clark Thomson Chartered Insurance Brokers at Doubletree by Hilton Dunblane Hydro, in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. As with every charity event, it was a fabulous night. The champagne was flowing, money was being readily thrust into charity envelopes left, right and centre, and the sophisticated gourmet cuisine created with passion by the Michelin star-winning chefs at the Hydro’s restaurant The Kailyard by Nick Nairn was sumptuous.
This ball was attended by people from some of the largest companies in Scotland and amazingly it smashed its fundraising target of £10,000 by raising an astonishing £20,000!
Well done everyone for creating a fabulous event and managing to squeeze an incredible amount of money for Macmillan Cancer Support out of the diners!
